Welcome to the first step in your journey to finding your next dream position! We're happy to see you here, and this book is designed to help answer your questions and ensure that you have a smooth experience with Apron Careers. Let's start with how you can create an account.

How to Create Your Candidate Account?

We are thrilled that you chose our platform to find the best hospitality job for you! Here's what you need to do to join our platform:

  • Select SIGN UP in the top right of the homepage. Fill in your details once you areredirected

    NOTE: You will need a valid email address and a phone number to register your account. You can also create an account by signing up with Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn!

  • The phone number you provided will need to be verified with a one-time password (OTP). Please enter this code on the screen.

  • After your phone is verified, you can choose the role that best describes you. That would be JOB SEEKER 😊

  • Complete your profile and fill in all the necessary details. Then, you can start searching for your next big role!

How Do I Log In?

To log into your account, click LOG IN on the top right of our homepage. Enter in your username or email address, as well as your password.

The Employee Dashboard and Contacting Employers

Your employee dashboard is your location to check out your applications, your jobs, and even any messages you have received from your new potential employer. Your dashboard will show you:

  • Total # of jobs you applied to
  • Total applications accepted
  • Total company profile visits
  • Total # of jobs you saved
  • Recent job visits

How Do I Search for a Job?

Searching for a job on our platform is extremely easy! You can search for the best hospitality jobs for you by simply clicking on JOBS on the homepage in the top middle. You can also filter your options as per your interests. Then, you can find amazing positions that you can apply to!

I Found the Perfect Job! How Do I Submit an Application?

  • Visit the JOB page.
  • Select APPLY NOW.
  • Write an introductory message about yourself to the hiring manager in a few simple words. Think of this like your elevator pitch: what do they need to know about you that makes you the perfect candidate for their job post?
  • Select APPLY NOW.

NOTE: In order to apply for any job, you MUST register first. If you would like to know more about how to register, please refer to “How to Create Your Candidate Account?”.

How Do I Save a Job Post to Come Back to It Later?

  • Visit the JOB PAGE you would like to save.
  • Select the SAVE Icon and then the job post will be saved to your account for later.

NOTE: To view all of the saved jobs, please select SAVED JOBS once you are logged into your account. There is a possibility you might not see the full history of the saved jobs. This is because your job post might have been deleted or it has since expired. All job posts will expire after 30 DAYS, so you have to act fast!

Where Can I Find the Status of My Application?

Curious to see if the employer checked out your stellar application? You can check on the status of your application by clicking JOB APPLICATIONS in your account. You will be able to see all of the job applications you have applied to thus far

What Happens If My Job Application is Accepted?

This is fantastic news! We couldn't be happier that you found a job AND you were accepted to your dream position! Once your application gets accepted, you will receive an email to the email address connected to your account. You will also see a NOTIFICATION in your profile for the acceptance.

To see more information about the application, simply log into your account and select the job application or notifications. Once the employer has selected your application, they will also be able to see your phone number and email address. They may then contact you to proceed with the next steps!

How Do I Send a Message to an Employer?

Introducing yourself in an introductory message when you submit your application automatically increases your chances of being hired by 37%! You should always share some information about yourself to show what you can offer and also share any potentially relevant interest or skills that also set you apart from others!

After you submit your application and you still haven't heard from your employer, you might be curious to see if they checked your application. You can send ONE MESSAGE to your employer with the messaging feature. Please follow these steps:

  • Select the appropriate application that you would like to send a message to.
  • Select the icon to message them and you will then see a new window where you can send a message. Then, you can craft a message and hit send.
IMPORTANT: You will NOT be able to send more than one message to any one employer UNTIL your application is accepted. After that, you can send UNLIMITED messages as you chat with your new potential employer.

Profile Basics

How Do I Edit My Profile?

If you need to edit your profile, not to worry—just follow these easy steps:

  • Log into your account
  • Select EDIT PROFILE on the left menu
  • Edit and update any information you need to change and then hit SAVE

NOTE: Your phone number will need to be updated and re-verified with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your new number.

How to Change Your Password

If you have already logged into your account, select CHANGE PASSWORD on the left side of your screen in the menu. Enter in our OLD and NEW PASSWORDS and then hit SAVE.

If you have forgotten your password, do not worry! We can help you restore your access. All you need to do is reset your password at the following link:


How to Delete Your Account

If you are looking to leave Apron Careers permanently, you can delete your account. To do so, please email [email protected] with your username. Please allow us 1-2 business days to complete the request. Once it is completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

NOTE: Once your “delete account” request is completed, you will NOT be able to restore any account information. Your account will be PERMANENTLY deleted. If you wish to join us again, this means you'd have to create another account entirely.

Introducing QR Codes to Apply to Jobs

We know how it feels to walk into an establishment and ask about job openings. Some candidates think it is unprofessional to do so, but that's not the case anymore. You should never feel ashamed of being proactive and going to find the right job, or even asking people face-to-face about their open positions. It shows you have initiative! 😉

If you find a place you really want to work at, you might see a QR CODE posted in the store, on their door, next to the register, or potentially on their front window. These QR CODES are scannable and help to save the employer time with finding applications, but they also have a lot of benefits for job seekers like you too!

Apron Careers has created custom QR CODES for businesses that partner with our platform to find candidates. When you walk into an establishment and you see a QR CODE from Apron Careers, all you have to do is scan it with your cell phone. Simply take out your phone, open the camera or scan feature, and wait for the link to load on your browser.

From there, you can see if any positions are available that you might be interested in applying for. When you find one that you would like to apply for, simply click the job application and then follow to the application page to apply.

If you don't find a job that you desire at the moment, the Apron Careers QR CODES also allow you to fill out an application to be considered for future positions. That way, you can save yourself some time later once you find out that this particular store is looking for candidates for your desired position.

With this function, you don't have to come back to the storefront to apply again. They will have your information on file to contact you if you are a suitable candidate for their positions! Best of all, these applications and forms only take four minutes of your time. It's incredibly easy, and it's all accessible from your phone.
